The Art Of Making

We can’t get enough of this zero waste process.

Waste cotton from garment manufacturers are sent to the paper making workshops in Sanganer, a town on the outskirts of Jaipur. These scraps are turned into a pulp through a gradual process of pulverisation. Flattened into sheets, the paper pulp is then set out to dry. The paper when ready, carries the most beautiful texture and has a smooth, rich grain.

Made by human hands, using traditional skills passed down from one generation to the next. Slow made for slow living.
