We are a husband and wife duo, passionate about the handmade and the hands behind it. Our lifestyle and interior collections are rooted traditional craft techniques and are made in collaboration with artisans in India.
People and the planet are at the heart of everything we do. Whilst we cannot claim to be perfect, we’ve tried our very best to use processes and materials that have a positive social and environmental impact.
Our handcrafted wares take time to make and require a lot of skill. We hope you recognise the unique human touch in our collections which could never be achieved en masse.
About us
Meet Tim + Emma
Tim Campbell
Co Founder + Commercial Director
Tim is the business brains behind TCC. He grew up in Bath and spent some of his teen years in Cape Town, South Africa. Choosing to by-pass university after school, Tim interned at a church in Toronto for 18 months. Upon arriving home in Bath he managed the Jamie’s Italian and then onto a software company where he now sits as the sales director. He’s certainly moved on from selling sweets and cricket bats out his locker like he did at school! Tim has a lot on his plate but joins Emma for pop-up shops and helps make big decisions about the business.
Fun Fact
Tim is tall. 6ft6 to be precise. He’s a big friendly giant.

Emma Campbell
Co Founder + Creative Director
Emma wears the creative hat and is pretty much chief-of-everything. From sketching initial ideas and choosing colours to packing and posting orders, visiting our partners in India and overseeing production, she has her hand in everything. Emma grew up in Hong Kong, studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martins and Edinburgh College of Art and has been working on TCC since 2018 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Several trips to India and one lockdown later, she was thrilled to finally launch TCC at the very end of 2020.
Fun Fact
Emma said ‘yes’ to Tim when he got down on one knee after only four months.

our Mission
Our ongoing mission is to provide sustainable employment and to help support the livelihoods of craftspeople in India. Here for the long run, we aim to do this through building good and lasting relationships with our partners.
TCC should never just be about us. It’s time to shine the spotlight on the people making the product, who for a long time have been out of sight. We like to think that we’re connecting people from different parts of the world through an artisanal product that speaks of tradition, skill and craftsmanship.
Read on if you’d like to find out more about the people behind the product.
Spotlight On
Priti Pugalia
Founder of Craft Boat
We met Priti in February 2020. During our visit, Priti invited us into her world at Craft Boat and she’s not been able to get rid of us since! Founded in 2016, Craft Boat’s vision is to celebrate the community of makers and craftspeople in Jaipur and the surrounding areas. Since conception, Craft Boat have recycled more than ten thousand tons of textile waste to create sheets of paper and are now exploring natural dyes and handcrafted textiles. They have been instrumental in helping us grow and have in many ways enabled our dreams become reality. Priti has built a business which is truly inspiring and one that we feel incredibly privileged to be working alongside.

Yuri Oberoi
Design Head at Craft Boat
Yuri is our go-to person. She manages our brand account and processes all of our sampling and production through CB. Yuri was one of Priti’s first team members and has remained an integral part of Craft Boat since then.
Truth be told, we don’t know what we’d do without her! Yuri is always at the end of a WhatsApp and ever ready to jump on a zoom call with Emma. She’s passionate, hard working and kind as can be.

Anand Sonal
Textile Designer at Craft Boat
Having studied textile design at college, Anand knows all things textiles. He is particularly interested in natural dyes and weaving and is pressing on with these developments at CB. Anand also oversees everything on the ground for us in Jaipur. From getting colours just right to visiting all of the different production units during sampling, he helps makes sure everything is perfect.

Sultan Ji
Master Block Printer
Where do we begin with Sultan Ji? He is simply a master of his trade. Sultan Ji took up block printing in 1971, following after his elder brothers. Aside from the fact that it paid well, he fell in love with the technique and has been honing his craft ever since. Sultan’s favourite colour is blue and likes to work in complete silence. He doesn’t watch TV, or as he likes to call it ‘the dumb box’. This man is single minded, incredibly passionate, pouring all of his energy into his printing workshop and training his apprentices.

Naveen
Block Printer
Things are best kept in the family here. It’s a bit convoluted but Naveen is Sultan’s daughter-in-law’s brother. He’s been printing for 10 years in total and has spent the last 3 printing alongside and learning from Sultan. Sultan is keen to pass the baton onto the younger generation and we love seeing this in action in his workshop in Sanganer.

Raj Kumar
Block Printer
Raj Kumar is Sultan’s son and has been block printing for 15 years now. He trained solely under his father and wouldn’t want to do anything else. It doesn’t feel like hard work to him as he enjoys it and has a lot of fun. Sultan says that Raj Kumar is much better at printing than those who come from other areas - their skill levels aren’t up to scratch and are only able to do simple designs.

Sanjina
Seamstress + Hand Embroidery
We’ve named one of our cushions after Sanjina. Sanjina learned how to sew under the tuition of pattern and sewing master, Lalkishar Ji. She loves it so much she has begun sewing at home and proudly showed us a dress that she had just finished making. Sanjina particularly enjoys the process involved in making our couch-stitched cushions as she gets to use an embroidery hoop.
